US Rocker Wins at National Awards

LOS ANGELES — Recently expanded online publication US Rocker was named a finalist in five categories of the National Arts and Entertainment Journalism Awards, and placed first, second and third in several categories.
Creative Director Mimi B. secured two second place finishes for graphic design and brand-strategy related categories for her redesign of the US Rocker website.
Editor and photographer Donna Balancia won first place for her action photo of rocker Mike Campbell and the magazine also won second place for its humorous headline “Shirley Jones Christmas Album More than a Partridge in a Pear Tree.”
